Who Is He?

Who was it that did the actual creating of the Universe? John 1:1-3. The Word is Yahshua Himself who came to the earth in the flesh, John 1:14. Paul tell us about the One who did the creating in Colossians 1:15-17? So did the writer of Hebrews say the same thing? Hebrews 1:1-3(notice verse 2) and 2:9-10.

John 1:1 In the beginning the Word already existed; the Word was with Yahweh, and the Word was Yahweh. v2 From the very beginning the Word was with Yahuwah. v3 Through him Yahweh made all things; not one thing in all creation was made without him.

John 1:15 John spoke about him. He cried out, "This is the one I was talking about when I said, 'He comes after me, but he is greater than I am, because he existed before I was born."

Col 1:15 The Mashiach is the visible likeness of the invisible Yahweh. He is the first-born Son, superior to all created things. 16 For through him Yahweh created everything in heaven and on earth, the seen and the unseen things, including spiritual powers, lords, rulers, and authorities. Yahweh created the whole universe through him and for him. 17 The Mashiach existed before all things, and it is this union with him all things have their proper place and order.

So who is called the Rock? 1 Cor 10:4 Note; Moses struck the rock, Exodus 17:6. In Numbers 20:7-13, he struck it in a fit of anger when he only was only to speak to it. For that offense, Moses was not allowed to enter the Promised Land with the Israelites. Deut 32:49-52. His action typifies deliberately sinning after we have repented and been forgiven. Yahshua will die for sins only once, Hebrews 9:14, 25-28, 10:10; Isaiah 53:4-5 and Zech 12:10.

1Co 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was The Mashiach. Heb 9:13 The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a burnt calf are sprinkled on the people who are ritually unclean, and this purifies them by taking away their ritual impurity. 14 Since this is true, how much more is accomplished by the blood of The Mashiach! Through the eternal Spirit he offered himself as a perfect sacrifice to Yahweh. His blood will purify our consciences from useless rituals, so that we may serve the living Yahweh.

Isn’t in the song of Moses referring to Yahweh as a Rock in Deut 32:15? ( refer to vs 4, 18, 31, 37) And what did David refer to upon his deliverance from the hands of Saul? 2Sam 22:2-3, 47. Take notice David’s words in Psalm 62:6-7

Deut 32:15 But Yeshurun/Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook Eloah which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

2Sa 22:2 and he said, Yahweh is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, even mine; 3 Yahweh, my rock, in him will I take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge; My savior, you save me from violence. Psa 62:6 He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be shaken. 7 With Yahweh is my salvation and my honor. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in Yahweh.

And wasn’t it Paul that said the Mashiach pre-existed? Philippians 2:5-8.
Notice in various Hebraic sources “Equal” means to be in the same plane of existence. So what happened? He divested Himself (emptied Himself) and took the form of a servant.
Notice Paul’s statement in 2 Cor 8:9. uses this same thought in 2:14, where he Mashiach “partook of flesh and blood” See also John 1:14.

Phi 2:8 He was humble and walked the path of obedience all the way to His death.
2Co 8:9 For ye know the favour of our Master Yahshua the Mashiach that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Didn’t Yahshua Himself say He had existed with the Father? John 17:5
Didn’t He say that Yahweh the Father had sent Him into the world? V 18.
John 17:5 Father! And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
John 17:18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have “I also sent them into the world.”

Ok the burning question is - From where did Yahshua say He had come from to do the Father’s will? John 6:28 Didn’t He further say: He had existed in the days of Abraham? John 8:56-58.

In John 6:28, We find them asking "What is it we are to do in order to do what Yahweh wants us to do or for us to do?" 29 Yahshua’s answer to them was, “This is the work of Yahweh, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.”

John 8:55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
8: 57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
8:58 Yahshua said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Does the Bible say that the two being identified as Yahweh were united in purpose? Duet 6:4
Note: The Shema (Duet 6:4) uses the Hebrew “echad” which means a compound unity, one made up of many. It is not “yahid” which means unique or a single one.

Deut 6:4 "Israel, remember this! Yahweh---and Yahweh alone---is our Elohim. 5 Love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
6 Never forget these commands that I am giving you today.
What did Yahshua Himself say about the relationship between Himself and the Father? John 8:19, 10:30.
John 8:19 "Where is your father?" they asked him. "You know neither me nor my Father," Yahshua answered. "If you knew me, you would know my Father also."
John 10:30 The Father and I are one."
What did John say about seeing the Father? John 1:18 Notice the words “at any time”
What did he say in 1 John 4:12?
John 1:18 No one has ever seen Yahweh. The only Son, who is the same as Yahweh and is at the Father's side, he has made him known.
1 Jo 4:12 No one has ever seen Yahweh, but if we love one another, Yahweh lives in union with us, and His love is made perfect in us.
What did John say about seeing or hearing the Father? John 5:37; 6:37.
Therefore, Yahweh that was heard and seen in the Old Testament was not the Father. It was the Word or the Spokesman.
{The Hebrew word for God is Elohim. Elohim ends with the masculine plural suffix "-Äéí" From this we might conclude that Elohim signifies a numerical plural (i.e. denoting multiplicity) and translate it accordingly as gods. But before we determine whether the world was created by a single God or multiple gods, we must consider whether Elohim is really a numerical plural.} “Elohim can me more than one, plural,”
John 5:37 And the Father, who sent me, also testifies on my behalf. You have never heard his voice or seen his face,
John 6:37 Everyone whom my Father gives me will come to me. I will never turn away anyone who comes to me,
In 1 Tim 1:17, Paul said the Father has a special characteristic. What is it?
Notice: The word “invisible” is ‘aoratos’. Paul also mentions the King of Kings, 6:15.
He describes ‘shekinah’ glory as a bright light that human beings cannot approach.
What does Paul say about His being visible? v16 What else does Paul say about Yahshua as the image of Yahweh?
Col 1:15.Simply it means ‘unseen’ ‘we cannot see’.
1Ti 1:17 To the eternal King, immortal and invisible, the only Yahweh…to him be honor and glory forever and ever! Amein.
1Ti 6:15 His appearing will be brought about at the right time by Yahweh, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Master of Masters.
v16 He alone is immortal; He lives in the light that no one can approach. No one has ever seen him; no one can ever see him. To him be honor and eternal power! Amein.
6. Did Moses realize that the Heavenly Father was invisible? Hebrews 11:27
Notice: It is clear from both the Old and the New Testaments that no one has seen the Heavenly Father at any time, neither has anyone heard Him speak. It was the spokesman, Yahshua who had appeared to the Israelites in the Old Testament.
At times came as a man (Genesis 32:24-30; 18:1-14, sometimes as a angel; Ex 23:21: and again in His shekinah glory Ex 33:18-23) Here it was one other than Yahshua before He came to earth as a flesh and blood man.

Heb 11:27 It was faith that made Moses leave Egypt without being afraid of the king's anger. As though he saw the invisible Yahweh, he refused to turn back.
Gen 32:24 but he stayed behind, alone. Then a man came and wrestled with him until just before daybreak.
v25 When the man saw that he was not winning the struggle, he hit Jacob on the hip, and it was thrown out of joint.
v26 The man said, "Let me go; daylight is coming." "I won't, unless you bless me," Jacob answered.
v27 "What is your name?" the man asked. "Jacob," he answered.
v28 The man said, "Your name will no longer be Jacob. You have struggled with Yahweh and with men, and you have won; so your name will be Israel."
v29 Jacob said, "Now tell me your name." But he answered, "Why do you want to know my name?"
Then he blessed Jacob.
v30 Jacob said, "I have seen Yahweh face-to-face, and I am still alive"; so he named the place Peniel.

The visible part of YHWH that was later to be sent as His Son . What was one of he signs that would be given to the coming Redeemer? Isaiah 9:6 Notice: Intellectuals critics have attempted to use this verse to show that the Mashiach was not born of a virgin.
v Isaiah 7:14 uses the Hebrew ‘almah’, meaning “young woman” (a young woman may or may not be a virgin.) Bethulah is the Hebrew word for virgin.
What are some of the other titles to be given the Savior?
Isaiah 9:6
Notice: Some translations give “Father of Eternity”, meaning the One Who gives eternal life. This is in accord with the New Testament teaching that it is through Yahushua that we are given eternal life, as in Hebrews 2:10; 5:8-9; Acts 4:12; 2 Thess 2:16; 2 Tim 2:10; 1 John 5:20; Jude 21.
It should now be clear that the One who gives His life for the sins of the world was not an ordinary man. He was the One who existed with the Father and was the actual Creator of this planet and universe. The price paid for your redemption was the life of the One who gave you life through creation if you obey Him. Hebrews 5:9; He was willing to die for you while you were yet a sinner.

John 1:14 The Word became a human being and, full of grace and truth, lived among us. We saw his glory, the glory which he received as the Father's only Son.

John 1:1-3
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with YHWH, and the Word was YHWH.
2 He was with YHWH in the beginning.
3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made .

John 1:10
10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him , and the world did not know Him.

John 14:26 (Yahshua is speaking)
26 But the Comforter*, which is the Ruach HaQodesh, whom the Abba will send in My Name…
John 15:26 But when the Comforter* will come, whom I will send to you from the Abba

Col 1:15-16
15 the invisible Elohim, the first-born of all creation.
16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-- all things have been created by Him and for Him.

Proverbs
30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?
30:5 Every word of Eloah is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
30:6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

"His eyes [were] as a flame of fire, and on His head [were] many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself," Revelation 19:12 .

"And He [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His Name is called The Word of Yahweh," Revelation 19:13

And they shall see His face; and His Name shall be in their foreheads," Revelation 22:4.

As we honor Yahweh’s Name, He will do the same with ours. "He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his Name out of the book of life, but I will confess his Name before My Father, and before His angels, Revelation 3:5.

Yahweh’s Name is written in our foreheads through baptism in the Name Yahshua, the Name that means, "Yahweh is salvation." These are the ones who live obediently and who will be redeemed as firstfruits of salvation into His very family, Revelation 14:4.

Job 38
38:1 Then YHWH answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
38:2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
38:3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
38:5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
38:6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of Elohim shouted for joy?
38:8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?
38:9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,
38:10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,
38:11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?
38:12 Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;
38:13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
38:14 It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.
38:15 And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.
38:16 Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?
38:17 Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?
38:18 Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.
38:19 Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,
38:20 That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof?
38:21 Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great?
38:22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,
38:23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
38:24 By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?
38:25 Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;
38:26 To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;
38:27 To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?
38:28 Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?
38:29 Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?
38:30 The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.
38:31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
38:32 Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?
38:33 Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?
38:34 Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?
38:35 Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, and say unto thee, Here we are?
38:36 Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?
38:37 Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,
38:38 When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?
38:39 Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,
38:40 When they couch in their dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait?
38:41 Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto El, they wander for lack of meat.

Job 40
40:1 Moreover YHWH answered Job, and said,
40:2 Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth Eloah, let him answer it.
40:3 Then Job answered YHWH, and said,
40:4 Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
40:5 Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.
40:6 Then answered YHWH unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
40:7 Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
40:8 Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?
40:9 Hast thou an arm like El? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
40:10 Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.
40:11 Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.
40:12 Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
40:13 Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.
40:14 Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.
40:15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
40:16 Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
40:17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
40:18 His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
40:19 He is the chief of the ways of El: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
40:20 Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
40:21 He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
40:22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
40:23 Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.
40:24 He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.
